Sensation Arts is led by artist Amy Hirst who is passionate about enabling people to share their stories. Her skills lie in using arts and creativity to develop people's confidence, communication skills and enabling groups to work effectively together.

We work in partnership with schools, health settings,  museums and galleries to deliver workshops and projects involving Puppetry, Storytelling, Sensory Installations and sculpture.

A new resource 'Me , My Puppet, the World'   is full of puppetry and storytelling activities for all key stages and is available to download from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park website.
The publication is the result of Amy Hirst's 12 month residency with YSP and schools across Wakefield, the Ignite Artist in Schools Programme.

Mapping and Modelling the landscape with Junction Arts
Artist Amy Hirst  worked with Year 6 pupils from Farmilo School in Pleasley, Derbyshire to make a 3D Scale Model of the Pleasley Vale landscape and limestone gorge. The model will be permanently displayed in the at Pleasley Vale Outdoor Activity Centre as an educational resource.  Click here to learn more about the project and download a free Model making resource (external link).
